lobos to cambria

We plan to spend a couple of early hours in Point Lobos and then to Cambria

These are our suggested stops

Bixby Bridge

Hurricane Point

Pfeiffer Beach

McWay Falls

Sand Dollar Beach

Salmon Creek

Ragged Point for the views

Piedras Blancas for the seals

Cambria by sunset

1)Is this OK for time, and

2)will the Salmon Creek waterfall be running in October, if not how about Limekiln?

3)Have we missed anything important

Cheers Angie

Looks good. Angie.

There will most likely only be a trickle at Salmon Creek in October, but it's still a lovely hike, regardless.

Yes it's certainly doable in one day. It's approximately 100 miles of driving, or 3 hours of driving time, plus any stops. The midpoint is approximately where Lucia Lodge is at, so when you reach Lucia Lodge you can check your time to monitor your progress.

If the Salmon Creek Falls are running at all, they will be just a trickle in October. The walk to them is so short that it will not be a big waste of time if they are not that impressive in October. More info on that waterfall is at:
