Droeger Fishing Village

I am arriving at the Copenhagen cruise terminal and want to go to Droeger Fishing Village. Is this possible by public transport? I hate taxis. How much would it cost and how long would it take? Thanks

Public transport depends on which cruise terminal. There are 3 in Copenhagen.

It will cost DKK 36 per adult each way and take a little more than 1 hour each way.

Name of your cruise ship and date will be helpful to find the terminal.

The name of the cute village is Dragør (Dragoer). It is recommended to check out the interesting little museum at the harbour (open Tuesday - Sunday 12-16 until the 30th of September) - and of course to take a stroll in the village lanes behind the harbour.

I shall be arriving on Holland America's Rotterdam on September 6. Thanks Joen. I will certainly look for the museum

Rotterdam is expected to dock at Langelinie Pier on September 6.

You can take bus 26 from the pier to Kongens Nytorv. Change to Metro to the airport where you can take bus 35 to Dragoer. One-way ticket will cost DKK 36.

Hans, Could you answer a couple more questions for me please? Do I buy the ticket on the bus or is there a machine to buy it from? I presume I will have to try and get exact change. Not easy here as the currency is usually only available in notes. Does one ticket do me for the whole trip and do I have to get a transfer or just show my ticket?

You can buy the ticket from the bus driver. The bus driver will accept smaller notes, e.g. DKK 50 and DKK 100, but likely not DKK 500.

The 3-zones ticket is valid for 1 hour, i.e. you have to board the bus/Metro within 11 hour of issue. You buy it on the first bus, show the ticket to the ticket inspector (if any) on the Metro and the bus driver on the second bus.
