Does anyone know a way to get your passport stamped while visiting Australia if you have an ETA visa?
Do you mean stamped with a visa? No
Stamped on entry? Depends where you are from.
I assume you want a PP full of stamps, showing where you have visited. On arrival, I would just ask the Immigration Officer to stamp it for you...
u will get a stamp.....even one when leaving.
Unless you use Smartgate. customs.gov.au/travellers/smartgate/us-globa…
luigi, chances are the smart gate wont work, the op will go to the "smargate wont work" line and get a stamp there. ;-)
Works for me, lien. :))
Smartgate never works for me, it's a joke between DH and me. He goes straight through, I go to the "Smartgate doesn't like you" line (but it's still a _lot_ faster than the regular line :-) ). DH says it's because I'm short, the camera can't see me :-D
Nah, it works for me and i am ths shorty.
Never worked for Guru and he was over 6ft
Travelling in europe and arriving at London ( the home of the Queen of Australia) was my passport stamped, stating the limitations of my stay in the UK.
Elswhere in europe the immigration looked at the passport and waved you through.
You can have one of mine. I get stamped every time I enter and depart.
