We are going to Sydney for 3days in late October and wanted to know where to go for reasonably good Chinese food we are staying in Campbell st. Also a good pub meal.

You're located beside Chinatown, you'll have no shortage.

I'm planning a trip to Sydney and staying for about 2 weeks next Feb. I recently saw an accommodation, known as Accommodation-Sydney City Centre (can't find any proper name) which seems reasonable. It's located along College Street.

Has anyone stayed at this apartment before?

Or, are there any good self-catering / serviced apartments near to the shopping area (CBD)?

I'm also concerned about the security around the CBD area as I'll be alone with my child most of the time.

Hi NinoNing,

You are best to post your own question as it does get confusing when replying to two different questions.

What is your budget regarding accommodation ?? have a look on wotif below to see what suits your budget. - Mantra in Bond Street is in an excellent location close to all major attractions / Circular Quay / Rocks etc.

Plenty of fab Chinese restaurants in Chinatown.
