If you have dry skin how would taking the moisture out of the air help? Wouldn't that make it worse? Isn't a good moisturizer easier to travel with?

Wouldn't it depend in where you are going and what season as to if you need one or not? How dependant are you on one at home? Lou darwin

Maybe try a thermal water spray or a rosewater/glycerin mixture from the pharmacy instead with a good moisturizer. Cheaper and portable!

My immediate thought too.

So it's 'humidifier' and my immediate thought was such a contraption would pique the interest of security and raise the ire of seat companions.

bev r, did you read the replies on that thread?

Could you just boil a kettle in your room in the hotel?

I too have dry skin and quite bad when it comes to being inside a plane.

I just use a moisturising cream and cover (ie. socks, long cotton pants/top etc).

As eva points out - much easier to travel with.
