Atura Hotels - Brand Launch Australia

In September, I mentioned that Amalgamated Holdings were on the verge of a high tech budget hotel brand launch in Blacktown NSW. Post opening follow up article below;

Unusual location for a brand launch, but like their other brand QT, nothing is 'usual'

Next to Wet & Wild, they wont have problems filling it over summer at least!

Hi,

Are the windows double glazed and bullet resistant? I wonder if they will provide complimentary knive vests instead of the plush bath robes?

Blacktown isn't on my must visit list when we have to go to the big smoke.

I think we'll stick with the Swissotel.

Cheers,

Good point Mia, I never thought of attractions out that way.

I wonder if some of their rooms are geared towards families? Their sales pitch is heavily geared towards corporates, so it could be they want to compete against the Parramatta market? Weird article talking about door locks as a hotel feature.

Looks very uber modern though, like alot of the Soho NYC style hotels.

Lol OZ.
