Hi, I'm a 22yr old British female travelling to Australia from Sri Lanka in dec - with Emirates as the first leg to Singapore and FlyScoot as the second leg. My concern is that on the way to Oz I'm allowed 30kg, but on the way back I'm allowed 15kg. This is most likely because the legs are reversed on the way back and I fly with Flyscoot which only allows 15kg maz (unless you pay extra).
I'm struggling to figure our whether I should just take a large suitcase with just enough for my trip (like maybe 25kg) and before I return - leave about 10kg behind? But these are all my essentials and clothes that I need during my stay in Sri Lanka too (afterwards as I'm there for another 3 weeks)
Or whether I should just pack light and take a cabin luggage instead of the large suitcase - just 15kg for my 4 week trip in Oz so I dont have to leave any clothes behind.
Please let me know your thoughts as I'm stressed!
