1. Re: Australia

That seems to be a question for an Australian forum, where people will doubtless know all about food import restrictions, rather than here

If they are normal commercial products - no problem

Linda, why would you want to? They have Easter Eggs over there. Mostly the same as we have.

Commercial chocolate products are usually fine. On the plane, read your incoming passenger card carefully and declare everything that the card says you must declare.

You can also take Eccles Cakes to Mozambique, just in case you want to know.

If you are from the U.S., Linda, the chocolate Easter eggs you can get in Australia are SO much better than the ones in the U.S. I love the huge chocolate eggs filled with more chocolate.

I've brought back chocolate Easter eggs from the US on several occasions, as I prefer them over what's on offer here and they're considerably less expensive.

Funnily enough, after sending my bags through x-ray in quarantine here in Perth, they pulled the bag containing the eggs aside, asked me if I'd filed out my declaration form honestly, and looked inside, as the shape of the eggs made them suspicious. No problem getting them through.

Real eggs are a different story altogether. Those are absolutely not allowed.
