Looking to plan an adventure

My friend and I are 20 and from Canada and are interested in planning a trip to Australia some time next June. We are not sure where exactly we want to stay/ visit . Would doing some kind of a tour be our best way of seeing Australia ? Looking to be gone for about 3 weeks. Thanks!

A tour (or a combination of smaller tours and independent visits to major cities like Sydney which are easy to do on your own) might be best for you as your age might preclude you from renting a car and you don't seem to have any specific interests so a tour will tick off the generally accepted must sees and avoid the need for research. Keep in mind June is our winter (milder than your version but nevertheless cold) so if you want beachy weather it's the ideal time to go to the tropical north of the country which enjoys its dry season at that time. There's more info on the weather in the FAQ's to the right.

Ok the best thing to do would be to first decide what you want to see/do/experience in Australia - then work out the best way to do it.

This website should help http://www.australia.com/

With 3 weeks you should aim to choose 4-6 locations to visit.
