Byron Hinterland

I'm an expat aussie back in town and am about to set off from the family to do a bit of exploring with a UK friend. We are taking in the Flinders in SA and I thought the Byron Hinterland might be a nice contrast. We have 4-5 days, will be leaving from Adelaide and need to get to Sydney by March 17. Would love to get in some rainforest and surf and am really looking for some thoughts/recommendations on whether this is generally a good idea and if it is any specific suggestions for itineraries or things/places to see/do stay.

Alternative suggestions also welcome!

Sounds like a plan to me

You didn't indicate whether you'd stau in Byron or inland I'd go for the latter (I'm a hinterland sort of guy) both Bangalow and Mullumbimby are nice places

Cheers skip

Thanks Skip.

well 4 days isn't probably enough - but we'd hire a car and ideally take in a bit of both. Thanks for the suggestions - am leaning towards staying inland if we have to make the choice!
