One night , beach hotel near airport

I have one day (29 Nov) and night (arriving Sat 10:30 AM) while in transit through Sydney to get a taxi or train, find a hotel (moderate) within walking distance (1 Mile )of a beach proximate to airport. Any suggestions without paying a fortune,

Sun flight out at 6:15 AM from Int terminal.)

Thanks

Hi

You can't really have a hotel near the beach that is near the airport. the airport is not next to a beach. the Novatel at Brighton is the closest hotel near the water and the airport, but it is not a surf beach if that is what you are looking for. Cronulla could be an option or of course the famous Bondi Beach.

You could take a taxi or the train to either Cronulla or Bondi from the airport, although you would need to change trains at Central.

The closest Hotel to the airport as mentioned is The Novotel Brighton Le Sands. Plenty of good cafes, restaurants too - not a surf beach..but nice safe bay beach. Easy access to the airport at your 6am departure time.

or you could also stay at the Crown Plaza At Coogee Beach. (approx 15min taxi ride)

You will need to get the hotel to book at taxi for you.
