Circular Quay to Hard Rock Cafe

Hi everyone,

What's the best way to get from Circular Quay to the Hard Rock Cafe (Harbourside Centre, Darling Harbour)? I am thinking of taking the ferry from Circular Quay to Pyrmont Bay, and walking to Hard Rock Cafe from there. Is that a good option?

How long is the ferry ride? How much does it cost? Do the ferries run frequently? How long would it take to walk from Pyrmont Bay to Hard Rock Cafe?

Thanks!

The ferry leaves from wharf 5 at Circular Quay and stops near the Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour. IT's a short walk into the DH building.

The ferry leaves every half an hour or so on weekdays and a bit more frequently on weekends. The trip takes about 20 mins. It costs $5.60 each way for an adult.

Quickest way is 443 bus from Circular Quay to Pyrmont. They come every 10mins all day.

I agree that the most convenient way is to take the ferry. The bus can get caught up in traffic.

An alternative is to take the train to Central and then the tram. You can see the Hard Rock Cafe from the tram stop.

Good grief! I had no idea the the Hard RockCafe had even moved to Darling Harbour.

It just goes to show how infrequently I get to to the Darling Harbourside complex - lol.

To the OP. My vote is 1. Ferry 2. Walk

Thank you all so much for your help. :)

Is it an easy walk from the Hard Rock Cafe to Sydney Tower on Market Street? How long would the walk take?

Thanks!

It's an easy walk in so far as it is not uphill or anything. It would take about half an hour to 40 mins at a leisurely pace I'd say.

Thank you. That's quite a long walk! Perhaps we should take the Monorail.

You'd be most of the way there before you found a Monorail Station to board.

The furthest north the Monorail goes is Market Street. I've never been on it (I consider it an eyesore) but I understand the closest Monorail Station is near the corner of Market St and Pitt Street .. just beyond the Pitt St Mall area
