long term parking in sydney

Hi, we are going on a cruise and will be driving from Canberra to Sydney prior to the cruise, does anyone know of a good long term parking company, we will be away 11 days. I realise that we probably wont be able to get anything close to the Cruise terminal so dont mind a taxi ride after we have left the car.

You might want to consider parking in the long term car park at the airport

$95 for the whole time doesn't sound unreasonable. You can then get the free shuttle to the terminal and then get either the train or a cab to the city.

yes Darling Harbour would be a good place ..but if your car is still ther 11 days later....people tend to look for cars parked for long periods ...could be better to fly to Sydney and the cab it from the airport

You have probably taken your trip by now but in the interest of other readers I recently took the advice of Rinsa and used the Wilson Parking at Murray Street Darling Harbour.. Some additional tips on using this service

1. Bring your cruise ticket with you

2. It is almost impossible to find the parking station attendant, so at the entry gate press the 'Intercom Button' before taking your ticket.. the attendant will let you know what cupboard he is hiding in and will take all your details and process a ticket.

3. Get there early so you're not stressing about the time taken.

4. Taxi ride to cruise ship at Barangaroo takes about 10mins and cost me $12

5. Parking Cost $14 per day, a lot cheaper than hiring a car from Newcastle there and back.

6. My car was still there when I got back.

Probably a bit late by now, but I have family who live in Canberra. They have hired a car to drive to Sydney for international departures, then done the same thing going home. No worries then about parking or the safety of their car.

However, the airport has car rental desks which cruise terminals probably do not.
