it is always full to the brim, has no luggage storage etc You might wait 3 buses or so before you can get on.
Just pay the pathetic little amount to do the train or the $2 more to do a taxi (assuming there are 2 of you at around 2pm)
From your hotel on Elizabeth St,it wouldnt be to bad,as most people catch it and is busiest along George St,but again really depends on time of day to.If it is busy, yes try the train or yet any one of about 12 bus routes that go down to the Quay on a regular route.
Depending on how much luggage you have, you may wish to reconsider using Museum station. It's the only station in the city without lifts or escalators to street level.
Thanks for the information. Any idea how many flights of stairs at the Museum Station? Maybe a taxi would be best.
A taxi would be less than $10 & would be my choice with luggage.
There's about three flights of stairs at Museum... memory serves... certainly not less than three anyway...that's from the Bathurst St exit, not sure about the Liverpool St exit, but I think it would be similar.
3 flights ..some with 4 steps others with a dozen
Taxi is easiest not much dearer... unless traffic looks bad..
I f you look like hitting carp near to the quay get out and walk the flat bit.. ( when the cruise ships are in traffic can hit deadlock in george st etc.) You can always ask a cab to drop you off at Alfred ST..
that will work
