If you only have five days in Sydney, I would recommend actually skipping the farm stay and spending it either in Sydney (where there is a lot to keep you occupied) or exploring further away like the Blue Mountains.

However, if you've already been to Sydney in the past, then, these might be some worth considering. Make sure to read reviews so you can choose the one that suits you best.

- Mowbray Park: tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g529016-d214800…

- Madisons Mountain Retreat: tripadvisor.com.au/Hotel_Review-g504255-d640…

- Tobruk Sheep Station: tripadvisor.com.au/Attraction_Review-g255058… With this one, they have a day program, if you just want to spend a day (but not overnight) there.

There are others around too, so, just have a search around.

Please keep in mind that you'll most likely need to hire a car to reach the farmstays. However, there is no need to hire a car when or if you're staying and exploring within the Sydney area, as parking is expensive and a car is not necessary.
