Fireworks on Christmas Eve?

I read that the Darling Harbor Mall has fireworks on Christmas Eve. Rather than fly home all day, is it good enough to watch and wait to fly home on Christmas Day? Want to do something special for holiday, and sitting on a plane is not it. Don't mind flying home, but to shoot both days (recovery after flight, etc ;-) isn't right).

IMHO they are not any thing special.

The biggies are Australia Day and of Course NYE.

Sorry i can't amke any suggestions unless you are here for Carols in the Domain.

I think being possibly 30c at Christmas might make it abit special ;)
