Sydney Trip

Will be visiting Sydney with my daughter to primarily see the Lion King and will be staying near the Capitol Theatre (possible Meriton Apts). Is the Opera House and the Rocks within walking distance of the Capitol Theatre. Thanks for any help.

My daughter also loves Adriano Zumbo, which of his store locations would be the easiest to get to from the Captiol Theatre

Hi,

We had a recent thread asking the same thing here - tripadvisor.com.au/ShowTopic-g255060-i122-k7…

With Zumbo, the dessert train at Star Casino food hall maybe of interest. Take the LightRail from next to the Capitol Threatre directly to the Star Casino stop and walk upstairs.

The walk to to the Opera House is 3km via Macquarie St (google says it take 35 mins).

I have often walked between Circular Quay and Central. 3kms would be about 2 miles. It is not that far; I would say 2kms.

It is best to walk down Pitt Street. It is the most level, with the fewest hills and is the most direct. There are always plenty of people around in Pitt St so should be very safe at all times.

Pitt St & Macquarrie St are the most direct Routes. However, that takes a good 35 mins at a decent pace. distance is abt 2.5-2.7 KM.
