Which hotel????

Hi I am planning a trip to Sydney in May. Having difficulties deciding on where to stay. Have a shortlist of three- Parkroyal, Radisson Hotel & suites or Swiss Hotel.

Would really appreciate any advice.

A very varied selection, so you really can't compare them as like for like.

Swissotel is a five star full service hotel. Parkroyal is a 4.5 star full service hotel. Radisson Suites is a 4.5 star limited service apartment hotel. They all are established in their respective categories.

If you're wishing for a traditional full service hotel, Swissotel is a great choice. Located above the Myer shopping complex, it is central to everything, has wonderful ambience, close to transport, and the largest standard average room size in Sydney. And it also has one of the highest staff to guest ratio, so the service is wonderful.

If you're wishing for an apartment styled hotel but with self catering and limited services, Radisson Suites is a great 'value for money' hotel. Located nearby both the cinema strip and Chinatown, it too has one of the largest average room size for an apartment hotel.

All of them are very underrated in their respective categories, and represents good value. So it really comes down to preferences.
