Visiting middle of March 2015.

Best Places to visit in sydney. Are there open top bus tours,night time zoo and evening dinner cruise recommendations please.

janny49. Apart from all the information on the right hand side of this page I can recommend two good guide books: Time Out's Sydney and the DK Eyewitness' Sydney. If you drew up and posted an itinerary I'm sure people would be pleased to comment on it!

A must do is the regular Manly Ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Beach. Taronga Park Zoo. Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylon Lookout ($13). Vist Circular Quay and the Rocks Area. Walk along Macquarie Street Sydney and see the historic buildings. Bondi to Bronte cliff top walk. Vist Darling Harbour. Take a day trip to the Scenic World at the Blue Mountains.

Sydney has various hop on hop off buses and tours.there are taronga and wildlife zoos

No night time visits at Taronga Zoo but there is a overnight camping option offered (Roar and Snore). Generally no evening dinner cruise is recommended due to cost/quality of food. There are quicker 'coffee cruises' offered plus regular Manly ferry.

If you have a hire car, suburbs such as newtown and paddington can provide great artistic, cultural and culinary experiences. you can always get public transport too but it will eat up experience time.

DO NOT try to drive and park in Newtown or Paddington, especially in the evenings.

There are regular bus services and it takes less time to get there than it does to drive around and find a park
