Hi Mumbo

there are suprisingly few restaurants in Darwin that specialise in seafood, although there are lots of restaurants that have good seafood dishes on their menu.

Here is a list of some Darwin restaurants

You can find more if you look at the reviews on Tripadvisor here

My favourite Darwin restaurants are currently Moorish (Northern African) and Antiquity (Greek) - not sure if they are what you are looking for though.

Pee Wees could be a good option, it is a little way out of the CBD and a little pricey but good for special occassions.

I don't know which restaurants are open Good Friday so once you select a couple of options you may want to contact them direct to check.

Unfortunately the quality of many Darwin restaurants seems to fluctuate a lot, so what is great this month may be only ok next month. You may wish to check in again closer to the date in case, someone may be able to provide recent comment on your preferred venue.

Cheers

Kim, I confirmed that two seafood restaurants specialising in Australian produce will be open on Good Friday. Crustaceans on the Wharf, with both indoor and alfresco options. Cove, which is part of the Skycity Casino complex, offers classical Australian seafood dishes, overlooking the lagoon. Both easily accessible from the CBD.

The Northern Territory was the first Australian jurisdiction to introduce fish labelling laws. All restaurants must by law, declare if the seafood is imported. Good restuarants are proud to promote and serve local seafood.
