Winter in Queensland

Hi,

I am planning to visit Queensland in midJune and was thinking of diving at Moreton Island. Is the water too cold for diving during that period of time? Will appreciate some advice on this. THank you!

Well it certainly is in my opinion and coming from Singapore you may find it pretty nippy too. The days can be quite sunny and lovely but the nights very cool and the water - freezing without a wetsuit.

Thanks for the tip! appreciates it. Will not go diving then.

Well, another question, if I'm planning to stay at Caloundra for 3 days 2 nights, going to Fraser Island will require one full day? And is it necessary to book through a tour or easy for me to make arrangement to visit the island on my own? I'm travelling with my husband and 3 girls, ages 13,12 and 9. Need some help on this too.
