Hi,

Firstly, the motels near the GHM's are quite basic. Do you need to stay there for a particular reason? I would be inclined to stay in Caloundra (20 mins away) or a really nice B&B in nearby Montville/Maleny. Do you have a price range and town in the GHM's?

Hi Charlie

Maleny is a country town, the crafts village is Montville.

For fantastic views of the Glasshouse Mountains visit Mary Cairncross Park.

There is good picnic areas and walking tracks, another national park nearby is Kondalilla national park at Mapleton. ( Oh yes, Mapleton pub for nice views and cold beers.

cheers

There are Motels at Beerburrum, Glass House Mountains Township and Beerwah. All are pretty basic and fairly old (Motels were built when the main road was the Hwy, which was bypassed by a dual carriageway further East 20 years ago. One of them had a sign out for a $70 walk up rate.

There are Hotels at Glasshouse township, Beerwah and Landsborough but not sure if they offer accom and be aware that 'old hotel" accom is often very basic. All these are old hotels.
