Best Yum Cha in Brisbane?

We tried King of Kings a few years ago, but were turned off by dirty toilets, cutlery and the manager yelling none stop abuse at her staff. Maybe things have changed? Are there any other good Yam Cha Restaurants worth trying. Anybody tried China City?

Probably in Sunnybank, but I still love King of Kings.

my choices would be China House in Fortitude Valley or Landmark at Sunnybank.

I don't normally book for China House but it's worth booking for Landmark as it gets very busy at the weekends.

The Landmark at Sunnybank has a great yum cha, it's at Sunnybank Plaza, however there's plenty of others there which are also good.

In fact Sunnybank area has the most Chinese restaurants in one location many more than in The Valley/Chinatown area.

Is King of Kings in Brisbane city?

I too was going to suggest the one at Sunnybank Plaza, can't remember the name but having had a look at google maps I'm guessing it must be Landmark as per lifetraveller's post. Big restaurant, authentic yum-cha that was just about the only decent place in the area that served it 5-10 years ago!

Landmark has opened another restaurant across the road in Sunnypark shopping centre - called Parkland. Same food but Lines less crazy there...

You could also try Haoke in Sunnybank hills. Bit of a trek if you're not sure where you're going...

I vote for Landmark too -- we have never had a bad experience there -- except for eating too much delicious food!

Correct me if I'm wrong as I have only been once to Landmark since moving to Tasmania. I remember they were more inclined to be opened for lunch than dinner.
