Backpacking Brisbane

Hi guys,

My friend and I are backpaking through the east coast, and on Sat we'll hit brisbane. We were wondering how long should we stay? What is there to do?

Is there any sports out there atm?

We are on a budget, but we have plenty of time

Cheers!

Cricket on Wednesday at the Gabba. Brisbane Roar (football/soccer) are playing Newcastle at Suncorp Stadium next weekend. We're having great weather at the moment, so grab your walking shoes and togs and head to Southbank for a swim if you like. :)

Plenty to do on a budget ---- Get a train to Manly railway station on a Wednesday and then walk along the esplanade to the RQYS - http://www.rqys.com.au/index.php/wags/
