BYO Resturants

I know this is a trip website, but I get such great advice I have to ask users (even though, yes I do live here lol) - is there a great BYO resturant in Cairns to reccomend? We are looking for a venue for our Christmas party and would prefer BYO, but I can't think of any except Limmy's (where we went last year).

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

My favourite BYO is Tha Fish Restaurant. I'm not sure how many people you are organising the event for though, so you would need to check their seating capacity. Corkage is $10 a bottle.

Another BYO place is the Japanese Restaurant Koh Ya. They do meals and teppanyaki, so it can be really fun with a group of people!

Thanks impickles, I should have specified, but we will have about 30 people so $10 corkage per bottle would probably end up more than the meal lol.

But thanks for the suggestions, might even look at Tha Fish to go for personal!

The best is Splash on the Esplanade. I have always been very underwhelmed at Tha Fish - you pay for the location rather than the food. splash seafood is on the Esplanade and they actually own their own trawler, so all the seafood is actually caught by them. Corkage is about $5
