Im surprised you have not been able to come up with any from a google search!

www.wotif.com.au

Your accom budget is very low for this area.

Wavedancer go to the low isles. Maybe look at the reviews here for them....

If you are going on a self-guided tour, you just drive and see what you want to see. If you do a search here on TA, you should find some threads with recommendations of things to see and do in Daintree or read a guidebook on Australia which you should be able to find in your local library or bookstore.

A budget of $100 per night for your accommodations is rather limiting, but you should be able to find something (at least some hostels) through Wotif, as Hamiriver suggests.

"Reasonalble" is a relative term. No snorkeling trip to the Low Isles or the Outer Reef is going to be cheap. For a trip to the Low Isles, expect to pay from $180 (Wavedancer) to $215 (Sailaway) per person.
