Posiedon vs. Calypso

I'm torn between the two... Both sound great. My original choice was Poseidon but I just heard about the Calypso. Basically I just don't know which one to choose between the two. I heard both are good reputable companies with great service. The price is about the same. But the reason why I can't choose is because I preferred the smaller group which is Calypso. Although, i don't know which reef is better. Basically what I'm looking for is a smaller group (adult only would be perfect! the less kids the better =]), offer introductory dive, new vessel (don't want to sail), great reef and just awesome service.

So which out of the two? Or is there another company to throw me off?

yes, tough choice. Neither are sail boats, both cater for all ages. Both are dive and snorkel vessels.

I am not going to tell you which one, but can tell you the subtle differences.

Poseidon- Agincourt ribbon reef. Specialised dive tender. Max 80 people. Serve prawns for lunch along with salads, chicken picnic style foods. Marine biologist onboard every day. Their boat is currently being re-fitted/repainted and will be back in the water in around a week.

Calypso- Opal reef. No prawns for lunch. Picnic style. Max 65 people although boat can cater for 120- they take max 65. Marine naturalist. Boat is very nice- spacious decks and sun longues on top deck.

Great feeback on both boats. If you still can't decide, flip a coin.

oh boy! hows the reef in opal? is it as nice? I like the whole spacious idea.... so if opal is as good it looks like im going to go with calypso. Don't care about prawns as much esp since the one im going with does not like seafood. But if the reef is as good, looks like im going to flip a coin =(
