Buffets in Surfers

Can anyone recommend a seafood buffet say between Broadbeach and Main Beach that is not over the top expensive? I've seen Sheraton & Palazzo but don't want that expensive. We will be 4 pensioners, but want a nice night out

Maybe Food Fantasy at Jupiters Casino in Broadbeach? I don't know if you call it less expensive or not, but it's priced at $57 per person. You can read up reviews on it to see whether it suits what you're after.

It may be worth keeping an eye online because some places will offer coupons/discounts at various times during the year (e.g. Four Winds has a current special on their website, but only valid until 30 June, 2014).

I personally like the Casino and 4 Winds for a good value for money buffet. A small step up is the QT, then Mariott, Sheraton and Versace.

I don't think any of them will disappoint if you are big eaters.

This is probably the best 'value' you will get - maybe not the most vast variety, but a reasonable selection at a pretty fair price...I've been there a couple of years ago, and the food was great, the desserts were outstanding.

Marriott is really good for ambiance and Jupiters for choice over and above seafood (but great seafood). Also consider Omeros brothers if you don't have massive appetites - they have a set menu which is great - and they just do seafood: http://www.omerosbros.com/menu.html#tab17 - and great seafood at that. All the seafood on the coast is good - so even if you just go to one of the Surf Clubs you'll get a great choice of seafood at a much cheaper price and best of all the surf clubs are all right on the beach - Enjoy!
