I am looking at going up to the Whitsundays for 4 nights (3RD TO 7TH JANUARY) after 5 nights in Sydney.
My wife and I will go to Brisbane area for around 5 nights after Whitsundays and the other couple will fly on to Melbourne. My wife and I will then fly down to Melbourne for about our last 4 nights in Australia. Some family who live in Melbourne might fly up from Melbourne and meet us in Whitsundays.
I AM LOOKING FOR ADVISE ON PRICES OF FLIGHTS AND ACCOMODATION.
Sydney to hamilton island - 3rd JANUARY - 186 AUD JETSTAR direct flight including 10kg hand luggage and 20kg hold luggage
hamilton island to melbourne - 7th JANUARY - 216 AUD JETSTAR direct flight including 10kg hand luggage and 20kg hold luggage
Melbourne - hamilton Island - melbourne . OUT 3RD JAN. BACK 7TH JAN.
444 AUD RETURN
Do u think the flights will go up, should we go ahead and book them maybe?
source - webjet and double checked on jetstar website
HAMILTON ISLAND APARTMENTS - 3RD TO 7TH JANUARY
the place i found to be cheapest on Hamilton island for apartments
did have 31 apartments available 2 bedroom and bigger , now down to 23.
i emailed http://www.hamiltonisland.biz who advertise all the private rentals on tripadvisor but they had a 5 night minimum at that time of year and was more expensive than;
2 bedrooms from 350-400 AUD a night
3 bedrooms from 500 AUD a night
4 bedrooms luxury villa/apartments are about 850 AUD a night
your looking somewhere in the region of roughly 100AUD per adult per night. im sure for private apartments that's expensive but reflects peak time of year. no other transport costs if u fly into ham island. free buggy with each apartment for driving around island.
SHOULD WE BOOK UP NOW AT THESE PRICES?Edited: 17 July 2012, 14:21
