We only have 4 1/2 days on the island, I am trying to cover mostly the eastern side of the island this time. Am I missing anything here? is this too much? thoughts would be appreciated.
Arrive in Launceston

Pick up car
Drive out to Port Sorell, on to Narawntapu National Park, George Town for lunch - maybe lunch there then onto Beauty point. Then back to Launceston via the Tamar Valley (wine district) for the evening
Round trip is about 170 miles - drive time (no stops) about 4 hours!
Drive to St. Helens and explore the area - Binalong Bay, Fire Bay - possibly stay the night in the area :-)
About 100 miles
Drive from St. Helens (or Launceston) to Hobart along the Tasman Hwy (east coast), several points of interest along the way to be see - mostly scenic coastal and small towns.
About 150 miles
Drive to Port Arthur from Hobart for various things there. This is a full day as it involves a 4 hour boat ride out of Port Arthur.
