Hi Ander,

In reply to your question --No. But may be able to assist if more info was given. EG how big a tent and when is it required for and for how long? Are you wishing to hire a tent for accommodation to go camping around Tassie? How many people involved! If so, what about all the other needs (sleeping bags, chairs, stoves etc)! Or for what purpose do you wish to hire one? A few more details about your proposed trip and needs may help answer your query.

Cheers

Hi ander - this is the only camping hire place listed for Tasmania in the yellowpages, and it's in Launceston.

Hi ander,

i googled "camping hire tasmania" & "tent hire" and the following may help

www.allgoods.com.au

www.backpackersbarn.com.au

www.sthelensbackpackers.com.au/bayoffires

(they seem to have an offer of $20pppn to camp on the Bay of Fires (tent, stove, drinking water,utensils-sleeping bag extra cost)

www.camping.com.au then browse- may find something.

www.about-australia.com based in Launceston-backpackers equipment hire

Guess you ust have to do some research.

It may also be cheaper to buy a tent, depending on how many people you are talking about, and what you need it for :)
