Family trip 5nights around Tassie

I reorganized my trip after reading the feedback on this forum. We are a family of 2 elders, 2 adults, 1 preschooler and 1 infant. Can the experts please provide advice:

Fri 3 May: Land in Launceston noon, check in hotel then go Cataract Gorge. Dinner around Gorge or city area. Overnight in Launceston

Sat 4 May: Drive to Hobart, go Salamanca Market then sunset at Mt Wellington. Overnight in Hobart

Sun 5 May: Drive to Port Arthur, go on Tasman Peninsula cruise. Overnight in Hobart

Mon 6 May: Drive to Bruny Island. Overnight in Hobart

Tue 7 May: Drive to Swansea, trekking along Wineglass Bay. Overnight in Swansea

Wed 8 May: Drive to Hobart, depart via Hobart airport.

There's a bit of detour to Swansea as a last stop because of the visit to Salamanca on a Saturday and Tasman winter schedule cruise. Is the itinerary feasible?

Its a good itinerary rochie557, you don't really trek along Wineglass Bay though, its a big enough trek up the hill just to see the bay and probably beyond elders. Enjoy your holiday

It's quite a good plan.

You could make it more efficient, I think, by going from Port Arthur on Day 5 to Swansea for overnight, then do Wineglass Bay on Day 6 before returning to Hobart, then do Bruny on Day 7. It would save a bit of driving.
