Do you mean viewing in person or on a screen somewhere?
Most pubs will be showing the race and I know in previous years they showed the race on the big screen in federation square with food vans etc available
Hi Nandini A. Is that in addition to your tropical resort stay? I'm not sure if you ever saw the reply there? If you need some help navigating the forum and utilising it effectively let us know.
Every TV and pub will have the race broadcast - it's a public holiday in Melbourne for the Cup so not sure what is open on the day (I am from Sydney and while no public holiday here it seems like everyone in the city is at a lunch or in a pub for the afternoon).
Are you thinking of going to the race or watching from a pub/hotel/other ?
Footscray Park has an adequate view of the racecourse.
Just stroll to Federation Sq and join the crowds who will be watching it on the big screens there. Better location than a pub for a toddler.
Agree any pub will screen it. Personally I'd not recommend taking a toddler to the actual event- so many people and potential for injury! A pub would be the best bet- plus the Cup tickets sell out fast.
