Crime tour and Draculas

Hi everyone, just trying to get some feedback on the "Crime Tour" and also" Draculas", are these worth doing!!! Or can anyone suggest any other tours that are worth doing. We are in Melb for 7 days in June.

Thanks Kathy

I've not been on the crime tour so I can't comment.

Draculas is a little cheesy - but it's good fun if you go in with the right attitude and aren't expecting Broadway style entertainment and 5 star dining. I think for what you get it's decent value.

Meals are above average compared to most theatre restaurants (3 courses - usually a salad for entree, a choice of beef, lamb, chicken, fish or vegetarian as a main and their signature chocolate coffin for dessert filled with a flavoured creme). Drinks aren't included but they have quite an extensive list of wines, beer and spirtis and rather extravant horror themed cocktails. The show itself is of reasonable quality.

Personally I prefer it to it's main competitor Witches in Britches.

Check out half-tix when you arrive. You can quite often get cheap tickets on the day for shows and concerts. The outlet is in the city at the town hall - it's walk up only so you can't order online or anything.

I'd also consider one of the ghost tours that run in winter. http://www.haunted.com.au/ghosttour.html

I did the crime tour with my wife recently and would highly recommend it. Our guide was great and told us lots of amazing detials about all sorts of crimes, Underbelly etc. If you're the sort of person who enjoys crime shows on TV you'll have a great time and definately learn lots.
