Have not heard that, but it would not surprise me. Zara have just opened in the Bourke St mall.
Not here yet & I haven't heard any rumors, though Top Shop will be here by Christmas.
And when are we going to get some good male shops??
Zara has menswear on the top level......
Hi. Like to know if there were any updates on this ... is there a Victoria's Secret shop in Melbourne? Someone I know is going to Melbourne very soon and she's hoping to get some VS products. Thanks
It's not in Melbourne yet & there aren't any confirmed plans. There are rumors as some brands owned by the same company are now represented here.
Topshop will be opening in Chapel St, I think before Christmas.
I will ask my 21yr old niece, she works for DJ and is into all this shopping stuff.
I'll get back to you.
This is where the rumours stem from. It's sister company, La Senza, has stores opening so the expectation is that VS will also come here: www.ragtrader.com.au/news/sfg-on-the-rise
At this stage there are no Victoria Secret stores in Melbourne & it's unlikely any will open in the next few months. There are rumours Old Navy will open here, & that H&M will follow Zara & Top Shop, so I'd expect VS will open here in the long term.
La Senza has already opened in Westfield mall -Doncaster.
In fact the VS in Sydney(at the airport),which I found out in June this year has opened with a licensing agreement with a Malaysia based retailer.
Anyway, H&M, Old Navy, Banana Republic--at the end of the day...it is all Made in China.
Buy on functionality instead of brands..and of course pay attention to details of stitching, hemming.
