Lorne or Apollo Bay for Camping

My boyfriend and I were planning a trip along the great ocean road in January 2015. We were wanting to know weather to stay in lorne or Apollo bay. We would be camping. What do people think?? Or is there a better spot to stay.

There are a number of options available with Caravan Parks and Camping grounds at Anglesea, Lorne, Wye River and Apollo Bay.

Just be aware that it will be the school holidays and also it can get very hot as well it will be the fire season at that time of the year.

www.visitvictoria.com.au has plenty of good info on what to do in the area and what type of accommodation is available.

There are a couple of Big4 caravan parks along the GOR www.big4.com.au for info on these.

It would be a good idea to check with the caravan parks to see if it is necessary to pre book campsites due to the time of the year you want to travel.

Safe travels
