Uggs

I'm thinking about buying a pair of Uggs before my toes freeze and fall off.

I realize there are a lot of counterfeit Uggs, and I want to get the real thing, which I assumed meant 'made in Australia'.

When I search Uggs Australia, an official looking site comes up, which advises how to tell if you're buying genuine Uggs, etc. But, it's based in California and all items ship from their warehouse there. The site lists two retailers here in Perth, but neither is particularly convenient for me and I doubt they'd have the variety that's offered online. I'd prefer to order online, yet if I do, I'm looking at international shipping for what I thought was an Australian made product.

I'm confused. Can someone enlighten me?

G'day,

uggaustralianmade.com.au/main-menu/about-us/…

Believe this shop was listed in the link provided by Luigi too.

I bought two pairs from their factory in Miami- one pair(mine) was custom made for my broader feet, ready in 48hours.

had bought few more for HK friends from their shop in Sydney.

Good quality and good comfortable fit..and definitely made in Australia. My pair is already coming to its fourth year...wearing it now in Mt Baw Baw.

Mel - I don't know how convenient it is for you but my Uggs are from Uggys in Joondalup SC. This is my 4th year of wearing this pair - nearly at the end of their life I must admit but I did wear them all day everyday whilst living in Adelaide from around April until October for 2 years. I will be back buying a new pair in the next week or two. They do have a web site www.uggys.com.au
