A deposit to where, for what? When?

If it is for accommodation, there is usually something in the terms and conditions. If not, ask the provider.

What are you talking about? We are not mind readers, you know. Ask the person to whom you paid the deposit.

Jenny

If you're still not sure (i.e. if you can't get the information from whoever you booked with), and you would still like some help here, if you post again with information on what you booked and with who, then others might be able to help you out. Hopefully though, you've sorted it out in the past few days with whoever you booked with.

Jenny no one is being rude - they are simply pointing out that your totally vague question on a public forum cannot be answered by the general public without switching on our crystal balls.

Ask a full question with some actual detail and people might actually be able to point you in the right direction.

As you have nottold what you have payed a deposit on, I will ssume it is accomdation. THe only one who can answer the question is the accomdation provider, or in the case of something else, the porvider of that service.

All business have differnt paymet policies. ASK THE PROVIDER.

Have you booked accommodation through Tripadvisor?

This isn't Tripadvisor - this is a public forum where people ask questions about a holiday - like where to go/what to see/what's the best place to stay etc etc.

If you have booked through Tripadvisor, you must contact the hotel (or whatever) to whom you paid your deposit. We can't help you - only they can.
