6 days 5 night in Perth seek for advise

Hi I'm first time to Perth. Not sure what is a Gd plan for my journey. Total of 4 adult n 1 kid. I'm traveling on end Nov and I yet not plan my journey and my hotel.

Current in mind to pinnacle, Fremantle market and farmstay. Which farmstay is better to suit my ititernery along the road and what other activity I can add into my journey? Farmstay I should plan to stay 1 or 2 night?

My first day reach Perth about 1pm and my last day flight back is around 1pm on my last day.

I could seek for a Gd advise

Thank you and hope to hear from u soon.

Your arrival day- if staying in Perth City then go to Kings Park. There’s playgrounds there as well which your little one might like to run around in.

Pinnacles is a full day trip- you need a car. Call into Yanchep NP as well.

Fremantle- the Markets only open Friday to Sunday so plan accordingly. Plenty to do for half or full day around Fremantle.

Farmstays- they are outside city limits. Closest would be Swan Valley (40 minutes from Perth) then there’s ones in Gingin or Harvey (90 minutes south) - maybe 2 nights. Then further south (3-4 hours) in Margret River and Pemberton where you definitely need 2 nights.

Web link then check reviews of ones which appeal.

Caversham Wildlife Park is popular with tourists as is Penguin Island.

You don’t need a car in Perth City or Fremantle as there’s free buses plus a train between the two. But beyond city limits it’s best to have a car.

Another thing to keep in mind when you book your car hire is that if your child is 7 or under you will also need to book a child seat for him/her. These are mandatory.

At the end of November it could be hot and the Pinnacles are not pleasant when it is very hot. It is a long drive there with not much to see on the way. Heading south to the Margaret River area and staying at a farm stay there would be much nicer with plenty to see and do.

Thanks guys for the replied and the above advised.

Does it make sense to get from a tour guide from Perth to drive me to Pinnacles and farmstay?

In Perth city there are four different CAT bus routes which are free - no ticket required:

Public transport is mainly available in city areas, not country areas in Western Australia.

If you have not been here before, here are some more ideas to help you plan:

To visit the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park near the small fishing town of Cervantes, you would need to hire a car or book a day tour, there is no public transport to visit. Its 2.5 hours drive north of Perth so at least 5 hours driving .

If you want to do a farmstay then you would need to hire a car because they are (of course) in the country and not in reach of convenient public transport except by taxi. Here are some suggestions for farmstays:

If I'm going to pinnacles and a better choice to stay in central Perth will be a Gd advise and convenience?

Lots of tours go to the Pinnacles and do pickup from Perth accommodation, so yes that sounds like a good idea.

Here are links to 3 different tours to help you:

If you go to Caversham Wildlife Park you will see and can feed lots of animals including kangaroos:

If you're self driving it doesn't really matter much whether you stay in Perth CBD or Fremantle, for instance. Self driving is _much_ cheaper than a tour as the cheapest tour I could find is $100 per person. Most are more like $140-$150 per person.

It would be helpful so we can make good comparisons for you and have an idea of your expectations if you would edit your profile to include your country of origin. I'm guessing it's Singapore or Malaysia but I have been known to be wrong :-)
