have been waiting 73 days for hertz to deal with my problem..namely compensation for providing a car "with the most dreadful smell" on arrival from Uk over the xmas/new year period. As everything was closed we had to rent another car from another agency in our sons name. the smell was unbelievably awful. We managed to get it changed eventually in Albany. The people at the Hertz rental in Albany agreed with us & tried to get rid of the smell but couldn't, however it took 3 days before there was a car available for us to use. We will never use Hertz again and will tell everyone we know not to use them. How they manage to stay in business I do not know!!!! Does anyone know how I can get in touch with the Head of Hertz Australia as I am sure that he/she does not know what is going on.
