Things to do on my own 3 days in Perth

I will be travelling over to Perth from sun to thurs. my husband will be working all day and I am wondering if anyone has any ideas of things I can do whilst he is working. He is staying at scarborough and will have a car to drop me off where I need to go. I also don't mind catching public transport. I've never been to Perth before so any suggestions would be appreciated.. Thanks

Scarborough is just down the road from me. A great beach with beautiful sunsets.

I am going to send you a private message.

What's with the private messages? I thought TripAdvisor was for sharing info with all?

chitwan, not knowing what sort of things you enjoy/can afford, may I suggest you peruse the Perth Trip ideas and relevant Top Questions over at the right of the screen, and also have a look at the WA Tourism website,

westernaustralia.com/au/Pages/Welcome_to_Wes…

In addition, there's a site which lists what's on this week (any given week) which can be useful,

One day you could head to Kings Park. Free walking tours available.

Afternoon in CBD eg Art Gallery.

Another day could be Rottnest

For a great day trip consider heading from Barrack st jetty on cruise ferry to Fremantle.

Spend time in Fremantle eg Prison tour, walk around fishing boat harbour, Bathers Beach, Museums, cafes. Train back to city- only 30 minutes.

Another possibility for a full day is a tour to Swan Valley.

If you like cycling then hire a bike and enjoy river paths.

Plenty to do and see and weather looks good- though some rain would be welcome here.

A Pm can be used to organise a meetup or to exchange email addresses so this can be sorted.

Nothing wrong with that

I know that, GW, but if one doesn't want to sound all secret squirrel it would be more polite to the other members to say something like, "Let's meet up- I'll PM you", instead of making it sound like you're planning to give them the gen on all the cool stuff you don't want to tell anyone else about.
