Picton to Queenstown Campervan Hire

Wondering if anyone could advise on a company that offers campervan hire from Picton with drop off in Queesntown. We are looking to do this trip over 10 days and are having real trouble finding a suitable campervan (needs shower and toilet facilities!).

Any information would be much appreciated!

Hi Bellers, welcome to the Kiwi forum :)

this company has a Picton pickup and perhaps a Queenstown drop off http://www.sunriseholidays.co.nz/

I don't know the company so this isn't a recommendation, just a possibility. Many of the larger firms only rent from the major cities, Auckland, Wellington, Chch, Queenstown. If you find you are having trouble finding what you need, you may want to consider renting in Wellington and crossing to Picton on the ferry.

It's a wise choice, to get a fully self contained camper as it affords you much greater freedom. When are you planning to travel? The nights are still a bit chilly for camping yet... well, for me, anyway :)

wishing you a great trip...

Hi we wanted to do this last year but couldn't find anybody who would do it. But that was a year ago so it may have changed now.

We ended up hiring from Queenstown and dropping at Christchurch. We used Maui and found them very good.

Hope you find what you want
