Shipping belongings back to uk

Hi - my daughter is coming back too the UK from Auckland after 18months away. She has an excess of 20kilos of belongings over and above her flight baggage allowance. FedEx have quoted a huge figure to ship back. Could anyone suggest a cheap option - time isn't a major concern. Thanks

Hello Steve :)

A garage sale is often a good way to 'move' belongings and it also helps with travel funds!

Or have your daughter try The Moving Company themovingcompany.co.nz/moving/move-to-uk-eur…

best of luck :)

Which flight route is she taking - the routings via the USA allow for more baggage than the ones via Asia...

Otherwise surface mail will probably be the cheapest option if you don't mind waiting a couple of months for it....

If surface shipping (8-10 weeks) is OK then try a standard shipper. We used Anglo Pacific when moving back from NZ to the UK and found they were efficient and reliable.
