My daughter is starting to plan a working holiday in NZ

It seems easy to get a working holiday visa but can't find a reliable cost for this

Question 1 should be easy to answer online.

Question 2 depends on many things such as what her skills are and what time of year. Over summer there are plenty of jobs in hospitality throughout the tourist route. It would probably be worth her while seeking out a barista course or Responsible Service of Alcohol course before she sets off if that is what she plans to do. There is also a huge demand for horticultural workers both during harvest - packing as well as picking; and also prior to harvest, such as thinning fruit, tucking grapes etc. In winter jobs are harder to get, but there are skifield jobs. In many towns backpacker hostels offer cheap or free accommodation in return for a couple of hours housekeeping.
