Accommodation with thermal pool?

Hi - does anyone know of accommodation in Rotorua that has thermal pools on site? Preferably natural pools and possibly private or where you are not likely to be overcrowded in September (sharing a small pool with 10 others isn't what I have in mind). Or elsewhere in the northern half of the North Island? Don't mind whether it is cabin, motel, hotel, but we are travelling with 2 children 9 & 11, so can't be a adults only place. Thanks

will give you a list from which to choose suitable accommodation. I notice one or two are no longer operating so have closed since the website was updated.

There are always the Polynesian Pools and the Waikite pools and the Rotorua Aquatic Centre is great for families.

We stayed at the Kuirau Park Motor Lodge in March this year and our room had a round tub out on the rear patio, which you filled with naturally heated spa water. Nothing fancy, but private as you can only access it from your own room and a good size for a family of four to have a soak. Being on the rear patio, there's a roof that covers about half of the courtyard, so it doesn't matter if it's pouring with rain!

Brucher,

Self promotion is not acceptable by Trip Advisor rules. If moteliers promoted themselves on T/A, this forum would become an advertsing platform rather than an unbiased information forum for travellers.

You are obviously unaware of the requirements of T/A.

If everyone went on to T/A and answered questions just to selfishly promote their own business, the travel forum would be totally biased.
