Intercity Bus stop Christchurch

Just to let you know that despite Intercity advertising their bus depot as 118 Bealey Avenue this is not correct.

118 Bealey avenue is an empty section with no facilities. Periodically Intercity buses do stop further up on Bealey Avenue. If you are planning on using Intercity do not expect toilets or shelter or even staff to assist you when waiting for the bus.

Last year Intercity had a portacom, with an office on that site and there was a pop-up caravan coffee stand. I thought it was temporary and they were building a new bus station closer to the CBD. Has this not happened?

No.

The cafe was "legal" by council consent but chose to move further up the road. The council never gave consent to the Intercity operation and tried to move them on with various enforcement orders which were ignored. The land in question was sold and the new owner "evicted" Intercity. However Intercity are still advertising this as their depot.

People are using the now high weeds as something to urinate behind. Gross!!!
