Please help me fill in the blanks for my Itinerary

Hi Guys,

I'm going to the Gold coast this Friday for 3 nights. We don't have a car so we will be relying on Pulic Transport. Below is my draft Itinerary but I have some blanks. Would be grateful for some ideas. No theme park though please. We live in Brisbane and have done them all.

Day One: Arrive 2pm: Check In at the Watermark.

Go to the beach

Check out the night markets

Go to Hard rock for dinner

Day two: Sunrise: go for a walk on the beach (if we wake up early enough lol)

Morning: Meeting

Afternoon: Harbour town

Night: Casino (What's the Buffet like? Worth it?)

Day Three: Day: Carrara Markets, Infinity and Pacific Fair

Night: Have dinner at the Watermark Buffet. (Anyone been here?) Hang at Hotel gaming lounge.

Day Four: ???? Lost for things to go today..... Will leave for home around mid afternoon.

Thanks for your help.

We've always enjoyed the buffet at the Casino, so I think it is worth it.

Day Four - How about a walk around Burleigh Heads National Park and then lunch in one of the many restaurants down there. It's an easy bus ride from Surfers.

On the Highway just south of the Watermark is an Italian Resturaunt called Alfresco. I ate there last week as I have for the past 15 years and it remains in my top 3 anywhere in the world.

Hi,

If you like buffet restaurants then you might consider the Four Winds revolving restaurant at Crowne Plaza, Surfers Paradise. Go at lunch time as its cheaper and you'll get exceptional views. Think its probably better than Watermark and possibly also the Casino, although I haven't been to the Casino in a while.

Agree with Cassnu about Burleigh Headland, its a really lovely walk - if you don't fancy any of the restaurants (most of those overlooking the water are pricey) you can get fish and chips or other takeaway from Burleigh and enjoy them at the picnic tables by the beach. Currumbin beach is another option with plenty of good cafes with uninterrupted beach views.

If it happens to be raining on day three or even if it isn't (and I hope its not) then consider Robina Town Centre instead of Carrara Markets and Pacific Fair. Its completely undercover, new and in addition to the huge selection of shops it has bowling, laser skirmish, cinemas and a huge selection of restaurants. Bus 750 from Surfers Paradise to Robina Town Centre - it takes about 15 mins from Pacific Fair.
