There are many different accomodation options at Treasure Island. Its impossible to tell you whether it is good value or not without knowing where you staying and how many people etc..... And is it school holidays etc.....

But for that money you could probably get a nice ocean-front apartment.

Depends what your looking for really.

There's 2 adults 2kids.

There's 2 families staying in separate rooms. We choose a pandas villa.

Just been reading the reviews seems you have to pay for the activities like spas, bbqs, tennis ect.

Paying this amount I beleive it should include it.

We are staying 5 nights but 3 full days are at theme parks so we won't be there much.

Just seems alot of money, and that's a sake price

And it's not in school holidays

It does seem a bit much. Not sure of your dates, but I have seen lower prices than that in apartments in central areas like Broadbeach, Surfers, etc.

Compare prices on Wotif.com with other 2 bedroom apartments to see if you are getting a good deal or not.

Hi,

Many places have Mid Season Rates between 17th Sept – 10th Oct 2010. Are your holidays between these dates?

As a comparison, you could get a 2 bedroom, 4 star apartment on the beach in Broadbeach for around $210 pn during mid season and pay $180 pn during low season.

Treasure Island is handy to the Theme Parks and Harbour Town but inconvenient to the main tourist areas of Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise.

Also, long walks along the beach in the mornings and afternoon are quite difficult.

Well, in that case you need to decide on whether you prefer a cottage in a caravan park in a largely commercial area or an apartment on the beach.

Personally, I would prefer the apartment, especially as you would save around $70 per night.
