When will you be on the Gold Coast?

If you want to be close to all the action, then, stay in Surfers Paradise because shops are open until later there, and there's also lots of tourist things to do - Depending on when your stay is, you could look at Moorings on Cavill, etc.

However, if you don't mind staying close by to Surfers Paradise but not right there, then, Broadbeach is a good option to look at - Depending on when your stay is, you could look at Meriton Broadbeach, Ocean Pacific Resort, Ultra Broadbeach, etc.

Take a look at www.wotif.com/ and select '2-bedroom' under 'room type' to get a list of places. Make sure to look up reviews. You could also look at rental agencies like www.gchr.com.au which have a number of different properties.

Why are you starting another thread?

There has been several posts already in your first "confused about hotel in gold coast" thread.

Usually better to continue and ask further questions.

And USD$138 must be per night - not per week

Have you checked out reviews on trip advisor about the 2 hotels? Can get useful tidbits if you read between the lines.

Stayz website is for private rentals, so, you deal with private owners directly instead of the management of Towers of Chevron Renaissance.

The problem with Stayz is that there have been recent issues with scammers who somehow gain access to an owner's account and reap all the money that's transferred, or other types of scams.

Make sure you ask lots of questions, if you go ahead with Stayz. Also, make sure the price is actually $140 per night, as sometimes, when you contact the owner, it is a bit different to the advertised price.

Furthermore, as it will be a private rental, you will not be afforded the service of their staff - this it will no longer be a 'serviced apartment'
