Is the Theme ParksWinter Campaign VIP Pass offer legitmate?

I have come across the themeparks.com.au Winter Campaign link (both on trip advisor and other spots online) which has excellent deals offered (basically 1/2 price almost too good to be true), but when clicking through to book it doesn't send you to the themeparks.com.au website, instead to a very basic looking site.

I'm a little nervous to purchase and was wondering if anyone has done so and gained entry to the parks using the ticket?

Yeah I am wondering the same thing too! Don't wanna get scammed either. Has anyone bought and managed to use it so far?

Just wanted to advise that you can send a Facebook message to the themeparks.com.au page for confirmation, as I did. When I asked whether it was legitimate, this was their response: "you can purchase tickets at www.themeparks.com.au/sale this is our official website :)"

Given that the above link leads to the same website, as the one I posted on the other thread, then, yes, I do believe it's legitimate.

Best bet though, if you're still concerned, message or contact the company directly for confirmation yourself, so, that way, you have written proof. :)

I just bought 2 passes after looking at another post on TA but got scared as the Themepark.com.au did not show the same offer without the link i used to get to the offer which was posted on TA. I called the reservations on 13 33 86 to check and they confirmed validity of the passes.

They have now posted the special offer for the half-priced VIP Pass on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/GCthemeparks So, you can claim the offer from there for anyone who has Facebook access. However, it does still appear to instruct you to visit their sale page, which does not appear to be accessible via the themeparks.com.au homepage.

Hi, have just returned from our Gold Coast trip and haven't had a chance to post until now. Thanks for the replies/updates. I ended up taking a chance on the offer (after finding it lead to the same purchasing site when you buy tickets through the Entertainment Book). All good, absolutely no problems with the tickets and such great deals.

I have recently returned from my trip to GC and used the tickets bought from the above like. No problems what so ever. No id checks. They simply take a picture of you and issue a VIP pass (laminated). I think this is a great offer and people should go for it.

I am off to the Gold Coast in September and I see on the theme parks website that there is a "VIP Magic Pass" available until end of June 2014. It says that it is valid until June 2015 but what I am wondering is does this mean I am able to purchase this ticket and hold onto it until September and use it for the first time then? I can't seem to find an email address to send the query, I would just hate to buy it and then find out I cant use it, thanks heaps in advance :)
